Bike Rodeo (K-8)

This program is currently unavailable. Click here to view all of our current programs.

Learn all the rules of the road as a bicyclist in our obstacle course! A Bike Rodeo is a fun, hands-on way to learn how to handle a bike safely. Trained instructors will teach critical skills, and other stations will be available for students to gain info, education, and encouragement for bike riding.

Participants will have helmet fittings checked, bikes checked for proper fit and safety, followed by brief group instruction, and then testing their bike handling and safety knowledge. Participants will receive a Certificate of Achievement at the end. There will also be lots of fun and useful stations to stop at along the way!

Participants should bring a rideable bike, close-toed shoes, and a helmet. Can't afford a helmet, or your kid's doesn't fit anymore? Some will be available thanks to a generous donation by  Boston Childrens Injury Prevention..

Please note the obstacle course portion is about 30 minutes long, and stopping at each of the stations may take 30+ minutes depending on how much time you spend at each. Please note that parents/guardians must stay on-site with their children during this event.

* Adjustments and discounts will be applied during checkout if applicable. *
