Pickleball
Try out the fastest growing sport in the U.S.! Similar to table tennis, badminton, and tennis, it is a fun, active game that can be mastered by anyone. We will be offering separate sessions for Beginners (Mondays) and Advanced Beginners (Tuesdays) at the Diamond Middle School. Be sure to also check out our new Drop-In Pickleball program for Intermediate (Fridays) and Advanced (Thursdays) players (program title: Pickleball - Drop-In). Equipment will be provided and all levels of experience are welcomed.
Instruction on the various strokes, serving, and overall game play will be provided during the Beginner session. There will be no instruction during the Advanced Beginner session as the format for this session will be open play. PK Shiu is a PPR-Certified Pickleball Coach and will be facilitating the program on Monday nights. PK has been coaching players from beginners to 3.5 level in individual and small group settings. He is always looking to introduce more people to play Pickleball, to improve their physical and mental health and make new friends.
Due to the popularity of these programs, participants must only register for one session during the season. Be sure to sign-up for the appropriate level class (Beginner - anyone who hasn’t played before, USAPA level 1.0-2.0; Advanced Beginner - USAPA level 2.5-3.0; Intermediate - USAPA level 3.25+; Advanced - USAPA level 3.75+).
