The Recreation & Community Programs Department is excited to be offering the ski and snowboard programs at Nashoba Valley this winter! Registration will begin on Tuesday, October 14th at 6:00am!
The programs will take place on five (5) Fridays, January 9th-February 6th, 2026. All program participants must ride the bus to and from Nashoba Valley each week. The choice of skiing or snowboarding must be made at the time of registration.
Please note: Nashoba was unable to provide snowboard lessons to their recreation programs this year. This means the Friday afternoon program will be for skiing only and no snowboard lessons will be offered during the Friday night program. Snowboarders are still welcome to purchase the "lift ticket" only for the Friday night program.
The Friday afternoon program, which is for students in Grades 2-5, includes a one-hour ski lesson each Friday (3:15pm lesson time), lift ticket, and time for free skiing. All participants must take the lesson. Drop-off and pick-up will be at the Community Center parking lot (39 Marrett Rd).

The Friday evening program, which is for students in Grades 6-12, includes an option for a one-hour ski lesson each Friday (7:00pm lesson time), lift ticket, and time for free skiing or snowboarding. Drop-off and pick-up will be at the Lexington High School parking lot (251 Waltham St).

Parent volunteers act as chaperones on the bus and at Nashoba Valley. Parents are critical to the success of the program. Please volunteer at the time of registration or call the Recreation and Community Programs office to express your interest. No skiing or snowboarding required! Help us ensure the program is a success!

The fitting for rental equipment will be held on Monday, December 1, 2025 in the Community Center dining room from 6:30-8:00pm. The cost will be $180.00 at the time of the fitting. Nashoba Valley staff will accept credit card, cash, or checks (payable to Nashoba Valley).
Inclusion Services:
Please note that with skiing and snowboard, we can not provide inclusion support in the actual lessons or on the mountain and are limited to supporting on the bus and before/after lessons.
* The program fee includes a $50.00 non-refundable deposit and cancellations resulting in a program credit will not be guaranteed after December 1, 2025.
