When was the last time you spent a night out under the stars? Bring your tent and sleeping back to the Lexington Community Center and we will bring the fun! 


The Great American Backyard Campout is sponsored by the National Wildlife Federation. So, join the thousands of families across the country that will set up a tent in the backyard or a local park to celebrate life in the great outdoors. 

Please arrive between 3 - 4pm to check in and set up your tent.  We will have optional activities provided from 4 - 6pm.  Dinner will be on your own - we recommend packing a picnic style dinner, or feel free to order delivery to the Community Center for your group.  Campfire songs and s'mores will be provided at 7pm.  The Community Center restrooms will be available throughout the night for your convenience.  Light refreshments will be provided at 7am and we ask that tents and belongings are packed up by 10am Saturday morning.
