Bikeway Cleanup & Garlic Mustard Pull Register View Cart

Community volunteer event! Please join us for this annual event to cleanup the bikeway, which mostly involves pulling invasive garlic mustard.

To participate, just pick one of the six work sections and go to that starting point at 9AM on Sunday, May 5. Volunteers should bring their own water, snacks and gloves. GLOVES ARE A MUST!  Your section leader will provide the bags for the garlic mustard.

This is a short, but meaningful and impactful volunteer event. If you enjoy the bikeway or just like to take pride in our community, please join us!


Section 1: Meet at the DPW parking lot at 201 Bedford St
. This crew will walk to the Bedford town line and back.

Section 2: Meet at the DPW parking lot at 201 Bedford St. This crew will walk east to Hancock St and back.

Section 3: Meet at the Seasons Four parking lot at 1265 Massachusetts Ave.
 This crew will walk west to Fletcher Ave and back.


Section 4: Meet at the Seasons Four parking lot at 1265 Massachusetts Ave
. This crew will walk east to the Maple St overpass and back.


Section 5: Meet at the Waldorf School parking lot at 739 Massachusetts Ave. 
This crew will walk west to the Maple St overpass and back.

Section 6: Meet at the Bow St parking lot next to the Bikeway. This crew will walk east to the Arlington Town line, then west to the Waldorf School and back along bikeway. 

Eligible for community service credit!
