Fall Prevention Workshop with Dr. Stare Register View Cart

Falls are one of the most common causes of disability, morbidity, and even mortality in older adults. The costs, including loss of indepencence, increased pain, and health care expenses, can be overwhelming. Falls are a problem to address not just in old age, but in middle age as well. Fortunately, the evidence suggests we can greatly reduce our risks of falls. Walking programs, chair exercises, and typical balance classes are not enough on their own to make a substantial impact. During this presentation, Dr. Mike Stare will clarify what works best to prevent falls, based on evidence, through science and real world examples. You will also be given solutions that you can use right away to reduce your risk of falls!

Dr. Mike Stare is a fellowship trained Doctor in Physical Therapy, a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and a Board Certified Nutritionist.
