FDIC Money Smart for Older Adults Series with Northern Bank

The Money Smart for Older Adults Program raises awareness among older adults and their caregivers on how to prevent fraud, scams, and other elder financial exploitation. The curriculum encourages advanced planning and informed financial decision-making. Money Smart for Older Adults was developed jointly by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB). Two representatives from Northern Bank will facilitate each session. Attendance at each session is not required. 

Identity Theft and Medical Identity Theft, Tuesday July 1, 11:00 am – 12:00 pm
Those who attempt to steal identities may request for your Social Security, Medicare or other personal information to use in order to run up unauthorized charges to your accounts. Learn how to avoid these scams.
**This program will take place at the Lexington Police Department Community Room, 1575 Massachusetts Ave**
