Red Cross Disaster Preparedness Workshop

Floods, hurricanes, and wildfires are becoming more frequent and can be devastating to our loved ones, homes, and communities. Build confidence by learning simple steps you can take now to help prepare and protect your family through this disaster preparedness training! This Be Red Cross Ready training is a national standardized curriculum hosted by the American Red Cross, and is designed to help people understand, prepare for, and respond appropriately to disasters. This training will cover three main points of the training:
- Make a Kit
- Have a Plan
- Be Informed
There will be a focus on the needs of the senior population, such as special medical needs, disabilites, and service animals.
