Apply now to take advantage of this unique, inclusive opportunity to be a Leader in Training! Participants in the program will have the opportunity to gain leadership skills, life skills and interpersonal skills while being a part of a summer day camp. The morning portion of the day will be classroom based focusing on leadership development and will transition into camp for the afternoon where LIT's will work with counselors, campers and experience all that camp has to offer. Interested applicants must be entering at least 9th grade. Our program is inclusive, applicants of all abilities are encouraged to apply. Registration closes June 13th.

Eligibility Requirements:
  • A letter of reccomendation from a teacher or counselor 
  • Entering 9th grade at minimum
  • Ability to stay with the group and follow basic rules and safety instructions
  • Ability to write and read 
  • Ability to independently attend to their personal care needs
  • Ability to manage own behavior with minimal staff intervention
  • Ability to manage personal belongings
  • Ability to make simple choices
  • A desire to participate in group activities
