Swim Team

The Lexington Town Pool (LTP) Swim Team is a recreational program for youth age 16 and under.  Practices are held Mon-Thur and follow the schedule listed below.  We participate in the Middlesex Summer Swim League and attend weekly swim meets at several pools in Lexington and Winchester. All participants must be able to pass a swim test and also feel comfortable swimming multiple lengths of the pool unassisted.

Practice schedule:
Ages 10 & Under (Monday-Thursday from 4:00-4:55pm)
Ages 11 & Up (Monday-Thursday from 5:00-5:55pm).

Participants can register for 2-week sessions or can select the option to register for the full regular swim season/all 4 sessions, June 23 - August 14.

Returning LTP Swim Team participants are welcome to register for the Relay Meet on Saturday, June 21st at Sun Valley.  Warm-ups are at 8/8:30AM (more details to come) and the meet starts at 9AM.  This meet requires a separate registration. Please note, there is no practice prior to this meet.

Aquatics Closure and Cancellation Policy: 
In the event that the facilities need to close for inclement weather or unforeseen reason such as maintenance, open swim, lap swim, aerobics, swim lessons and swim team will be cancelled.  Closures will be posted on the Aquatics webpage.  Cancelled programs such as swim lessons and swim team are non-refundable and make-up sessions are not available.
