LexGo! Register View Cart

LexGo! is a community based, leisure education program for Lexington teens, ages 13-17, who identify with having a disability. Participants will engage in peer connection, learn about positive recreation, and experience unique access to local activities. Sessions will include a variety of opportunities, such as riding the Lexpress, going to a sensory friendly movie, and fostering relationships with "penpals". Included in registration is an unlimited Lexpress pass valid through 6/31/2026.

Tentative Program Schedule:
- 9/11 Leisure Education: How to use the Lexpress and Penpal matching 
- 9/25 Lexpress to the Burlington Mall 
- 10/9 Leisure Education: What's happening in Lexington?
- 10/23 Sensory Friendly Movie  
- 11/6 Leisure Education: Intergenerational Penpals 
- 11/20 Penpal visit 
- 12/4 Lexpress to Inclusive Fitness 
- 12/18 Program Wrap up 

Both drop-off and pick-up will be at the Lexington Community Center located at 39 Marrett Road. 

Eligibility Requirements:
  • Ability to follow 2 step directions 
  • Ability to independently attend to their personal care needs
  • A desire to participate in group activities 
  • A desire to try new experiences 
  • Ability to mange personal belongings
  • Ability to stay with the group and follow basic rules and safety instructions
