Make Your Own Pocket Hugs
Pocket Hugs Crochet Program
Join the Lexington Human Services Department and Lexington resident Stephanie Hsu for a special crochet program in recognition of Suicide Awareness Month and Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
Stephanie is a Lexington resident, parent, and community member who enjoys bringing people together through meaningful activities. She will guide participants in creating “pocket hugs” — small crocheted hearts that can be carried or shared as a simple reminder that someone cares.
These handmade hearts are a small gesture of kindness and connection, offering comfort, encouragement, and a reminder that people are valued and supported.
This program is open to all ages and all skill levels. Whether you are an experienced crocheter or picking up a crochet hook for the first time, everyone is welcome. Come connect with neighbors, learn something new, and create something meaningful for our community.
