Are you or someone you know unable to take public transportation (MBTA and Lexpress) some or all of the time due to physical, mental, and/or cognitive limitations? If so, you may qualify for our regional door-to-door service called The RIDE which now has a new app. With the new app, you can customize trip options, get notifications and real-time tracking, save and manage your favorite locations, view and edit upcoming trips, and rate your experience after each ride. Understanding Transportation Options - Understanding Your Transportation Options (In-Person)
Want to better understand options for getting in, out, and around town? Come to Understanding Transportation Options, led by the Town's Transportation Manager. You'll to learn about the array of services that exist ranging from fixed-route to demand-response, to more specialized services, and also active transportation options. We will discuss options for you and your loved ones regardless of age, ability and mobility levels. We will also review how to use different online applications for mapping your trips and how to use some related apps. This session will be offered in person at 2PM and virtually at 7PM.
