U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary's Boat America course is an 8-session boating safety class open to adults and youth 12 years of age and older. This NASBLA approved course provides the knowledge needed to obtain a Massachusetts or New Hampshire boating certificate. TOPICS INCLUDE • Introduction to Boating • State and Federal Boating Laws • Safety Equipment • Safe Operation and Navigation • Boating Emergencies • Trailering • Watersports and Boating Following the 8-session Boat America class, there will be 3 optional sessions on Coastal Navigation.

LexGo! is a community based, leisure education program for Lexington teens, ages 13-17, who identify with having a disability. Participants will engage in peer connection, learn about positive recreation, and experience unique access to local activities. Sessions will include a variety of opportunities, such as riding the Lexpress, going to a sensory friendly movie, and fostering relationships with "penpals". Eligibility Requirements: Ability to follow 2 step directions  Ability to independently attend to their personal care needs A desire to participate in group activities  A desire to try new experiences  Ability to mange personal belongings Ability to stay with the group and follow basic rules and safety instructions Please note, 1:1 staff are not provided in this program.

Get ready to mix, bubble, build, and explore! In this exciting hands-on science course, young learners become real scientists as they dive into fun, age-appropriate experiments that spark curiosity and creativity.Each week, students will roll up their sleeves and explore core science concepts through play and discovery. Activities include (This list can be modified to include or cancel any specific activity) Making slime to learn about states of matter Building mini-volcanoes and watching chemical reactions in action Discovering how plants drink water with our rainbow celery experiment Testing what sinks or floats and why Creating simple circuits with batteries and bulbs Exploring magnet magic and invisible forces Investigating shadow science and how light moves Designing and launching paper rockets to learn about air pressure and motion This course is all about doing—not just watching. With minimal lecture and maximum interaction, it’s the perfect way to introduce budding scientists to the wonders of the world around them.

Intuitive Eating is a non-diet approach to improving your relationship with food. Current research has shown that becoming an intuitive eater is good for the mind, body and soul. You will learn about the 10 principles of Intuitive Eating. Class size is limited to 12.
